Every Story Deserves to Be Kept
At Scrapbook Films, we focus on the stories that often go untold: a parent’s voice, a grandparent’s memories, a message you don’t want to leave unsaid. These aren’t just stories. They’re keepsakes.
We don’t script or stage. We listen.
Then we shape what we hear into something honest, cinematic, and built to last.
It’s not just about the story itself, it’s about who it might reach later on, and what it could mean to them. Knowing where they come from. Knowing their roots.

Rob’s Story
Hi, I’m Rob Postma, founder of Scrapbook Films.
This all started with something I didn’t do: I never recorded my dad’s story before he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. I thought there’d be more time. I missed the window.
Now that I have kids of my own, I wish I had those memories to pass down.
That’s what led me here.
I wanted to help other people hold onto what they have before it’s gone.
It’s personal for me. I work closely with each client to make sure their film feels real and honest. Not polished. Just preserved.
These days, my sons are part of the process too. It’s become something we share. A quiet way to spend time together and carry these stories forward.
This work still matters to me because stories don’t last by accident.
Someone has to take the time to keep them.
